Skinny Bitch Diet: it worked for me
by Kelly Parenti
I came across the “Skinny Bitch” diet method in a health magazine. It seemed easy to practice and I gave it a try.
My usual habit of having junk food had a great impact on my health during my adolescence. I had started to put on weight drastically and I turned from lean to plump and finally overweight.
I gradually stopped having junk foods. I stopped gaining weight but did not manage to lose the extra weight that I had gained.
I tried many diet plans, work-outs and even diet pills but nothing proved very effective.
The diet plan required me to avoid sugary foods, meat, dairy products, substitute white bread and white rice with whole grains and whole wheat, eat lots of fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables.
I also started drinking lots of water at regular intervals.
At first, I had trouble avoiding sugary foods and meat but eventually I resumed control over it.
Besides the diet I also worked out twice a week.
I started to see the results within 2-3 weeks. I started to lose weight. I no longer had the cravings for junk food that I endured before.
Now I am back to a normal weight. I feel that for a diet to work out, one should be comfortable with the dietary plans suggested.
Also one should be honest to stick to the regime.
If possible, try out meditation too. It really works and helps you gain self-control.
Last but not the least, one should have positive attitude towards oneself. Depression, anxiety and low self-esteem can actually worsen your condition.
Do you need a little more help with your weight?

It can be a vicious circle. If you're not happy with the way you look and feel it can affect your self-esteem and make you feel depressed.
And if you are depressed you're less likely to have the ambition to make positive changes in your life.
There have been a lot of studies about depression that have shown that exercise alone will improve depression more than medication. That's something to think about if your weight gets you down.
