Low carb

I worked in the fitness industry for 5 years as a manager of health clubs and as a apex personal trainer and now have out of the industry for about 2 years.

I have been doing a low carb diet for the past 6 weeks, T N T by Jeff Volek and Adam Campbell of mens health and have gotten my Body fat percentage back down to around 12 percent.

If I continue to do low carb with minimal exercise, can I reach 8 percent body fat or will I need to adjust my caloric intake accordingly as I get closer to my goal?

Adjusting calorie intake to lower body fat
by: Dr. Dan

Very well done on getting your body fat to 12%. That's something that most of us just dream about.

Unless you are naturally very lean it will be hard for you to get to 8% body fat with minimal exercise.

Usually when you get your body fat to that level you start losing lean tissue as you lose more weight. So you might lose pounds, but the percentage of fat stays the same.

Most of the people that succeed at becoming very lean do so by increasing their intense cardio exercise.

The ones that don't increase the exercise usually end up by becoming what they call "skinny fat people."
