Jillian Michael's 30-day Shred -- Lost 17 Pounds In 20 Days
Last year, right after I turned 21, I decided to get rid of my 45 extra pounds. I have struggled with my weight for my whole life, mostly because I hate to exercise.
I was shopping around online and came across Jillian Michael’s 30-Day Shred DVD. I’m a fan of the Biggest Loser, so I decided to give it a shot.
When it came, I was actually excited to start. I was curious if it would actually deliver the 20 pound weight loss in 1 month that it promised.
I have to admit, the first time I did the workout, I vomited. I don’t think I’ve ever worked that hard in my life.
But Jillian’s encouraging words throughout the DVD kept me going. I wanted to toss the DVD out the window, but her words kept me going.
The exercises were rough, especially the squats. It was very fast-paced.
Over the first few days, I was incredibly sore. It was hard to move, but I kept doing the exercises every day.
It got easier after about a week, and I could feel myself getting stronger. I used muscles that I didn’t even know existed.
After 15 days, I had dropped 10 pounds, and after 20, I was up to 17 pounds.
I went way past my 30 days, and I must say, I’m addicted. It’s a fun workout.
Once you pass the first level, you can hit the second and third levels on the DVD. Each is harder than the last, but your body gets incredible strong if you stick to it.
I would highly recommend this DVD to anyone who is willing to push themselves past their comfort zone.
