Great Results From The Scarsdale Diet








My mother told me about this diet about 20 years ago. When the pounds start creeping up on me I go on this diet. I can lose a pound a day on this diet and have!

If I want to lose twenty pounds it usually takes me three weeks. The first two weeks I lose a pound a day with no exercise. The third week I lost five pounds.

I have given this diet to many of my friends and they have had the same results.

I have dry protein toast with a half a grapefruit every day for breakfast with no exceptions. I then have a large fruit salad with a half cup of cottage cheese, 5 walnuts and one tablespoon of sour cream. I eat as much as I want till I am full.

I always have one banana and pineapple and different fruits. I eat this fruit salad every day for lunch.

For dinner I have a protein which is meat, chicken, lamb or shellfish. I eat as much protein as I want but limit my vegtables to 2 cups of green vegtables. I do not have any snacks other than sugar free jello which is not on the diet but I still lose weight eating this for a snack.

I feel very good on my diet.I am not light headed
because I get enough calories.

The best part about this diet is that it is simple and easy to prepare. I make my fruit salad the night before and sprinkle lemon juice on the apples and bananas so they do not brown. Everyone at work says it looks like a parfait and want to go on the Scarscale diet.

I eat breakfast before I go to work because it is so simple. I shop on Sunday for everything I need for the week so I do not have to go to the grocery store.

I sometimes use canned vegetables such as asparagus and green beans. I do not eat any potatoes, corn or peas because they have starch and are higher in calories and sugar.

If I have a salad I use a low fat low calorie or just a tsp of oil and lemon juice. I season everything with salt and pepper.

Men have lost more on this diet. I have a man friend who lost 20 pounds in two weeks. I think that is because of how high his weight was. He was so happy.
