You Can Boost Fat Loss With Circuit Training

There are really two parts to exercise: There is doing the exercise. And there are the results of the exercise.

First, about doing the exercise. Exercise is no good if you don't do it. All the fancy theory in the world is nothing if it is in a book somewhere. You have to do it.

Now, there are lots of wonderful programs out there. I was working on a book a while back with Scott Helvenston.

Scott was a legendary Navy SEAL instructor. He had designed hundreds of effective workouts.

And Scott had this great new routine. I mean this was a killer routine and you could do this routine and you'd get in fantastic shape.

It had four kinds of pushups and it had pull-ups and it had these fancy squat-leaps and it had…

Well, it was just a fantastic workout, it really was. And it had one part where you do 20 pullups. You know, hang on the bar and pull yourself up to your chin, then back down, twenty times.

You would get strong like an ox, right? But twenty pull-ups?

Who can do twenty pull-ups? That takes super-fantastic strength. Almost nobody can do it.

You need a workout that you can do.

A workup for anyone at any level of fitness

So why circuit training? Because anybody can do it. Anybody.

Who is anybody? Little kids. The out-of-shape. Ninety year old grandmothers, like the one I saw on the news last week who was such an inspiration for everybody at her gym. They showed her working out and she was doing it!

No matter what shape you are in now you can circuit traing. If you use machines in a gym the weights go from nothing to as high as you want.

Fast. Safe. Easy.

And it is easy. Walk up to the machine. Put a pin in the slot you want. And you do it. No muss. No fuss.

They are safe too. The weight can't fall on your foot. Or your head.

And circuit training is fast. There is no set up. You do one exercise. You go to the next machine. You do the exercise. You go to the next machine. See. Easy.

If you don't know anything about it the staff at the gym will show you how it works at your first visit and after that you won't have any problem.

You will like circuit training because:

  • anybody can do it
  • it's easy
  • it's safe
  • and its fast.
